Description of the Project
Headquartered in Tunis, BluePeak Private Capital is an alternative asset management firm focused on providing financing solutions for impactful businesses across Africa, addressing critical financing gaps.
BluePeak Private Capital Fund SCSp is an impact-driven fund established to address the lack of funding for mid-sized companies across Africa through flexible and tailored financial investment instruments ranging from debt to quasi-equity. In particular, the Fund’s investment strategy focuses on the following three main areas of impact: inclusivity, resilience and climate change.
Innpact contribution
In 2022, Innpact supported BluePeak in seeking compliance with the EU SFDR by conducting a gap analysis of key fund documents against regulatory requirements. Based on the findings, Innpact enhanced BluePeak’s documentation and drafted SFDR-aligned website disclosures.
In 2023, Innpact verified alignment between Blue Peak’s investment strategy and the nine operating principles for impact management (OPIM Principles), identifying potential alignment gaps and providing recommendations to bridge such gaps. Innpact also produced the independent verifier’s report of Blue Peak alignment with the OPIM.
