Simon Nicolai

Simon Nicolai is an Impact Officer within the Impact Measurement & Management (IMM) team at Innpact S.A.

Simon began his journey in sustainable development with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Development from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. He later pursued a joint Master’s degree in Economic Growth and Development from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Lund University in Sweden, further deepening his expertise in the field. Complementing his academic background, he obtained online certifications in microfinance and sustainable finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Before joining Innpact, Simon gained valuable experience in international development through roles at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna and at a development consulting firm in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. His work focused on project management and business development, equipping him with practical insights into the implementation of impactful solutions in diverse global contexts.
