Valérie Gomes is a Senior Officer, Board Advisory – Governance at Innpact.
With an academic background in Law and Social Sciences completed in the United States, she began her career in the legal department of Angola’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focusing on international relations and policy. Motivated by a belief in finance as a transformative tool, Valérie transitioned to Luxembourg’s investment fund industry, spending nearly three years as a jurist at a leading independent asset management company. There, she gained a comprehensive understanding of Luxembourg’s regulatory landscape and the broader investment fund sector. This exposure reinforced her commitment to impact investing, recognizing the potential of finance to drive meaningful change.
