Innpact is proud to coordinate the ICFA Luxembourg initiative and to support the future champions of climate finance fund managers.
The ICFA Spring Cohort 2020 that was announced on 4 June 2020 features:
- Earth Wake with a fund that will provide climate finance at scale through debt capital markets and technical assistance to enable vulnerable communities across Asia-Pacific to strengthen resilience, adapt to climate change and grow sustainably
- FC Capital Partners with a climate mitigation fund that will support the development of infrastructure projects that provide electric vehicles and charging service to operators of buses, trucks and other vehicle fleets in Southern and Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Mercy Corps Ventures with a climate adaptation fund that will find, fund and support ventures developing bold solutions to build climate resilient communities in frontier markets and reduce the impact of climate-related shocks on the world’s most vulnerable populations.
- Wangara Green Ventures with a climate-focused fund that will invest in and provide bespoke business support to small and growing businesses that can promote climate change resilience and inclusive economic development in Ghana.
The winners will receive support over the next 18 months in the form of training, coaching, financial and marketing support, in order to develop their fund project under the best possible conditions.
